La Jolla

THINGS TO DO

La Jolla is the home of the Torrey Pines Golf Course, which hosts the annual PGA Tour and has also hosted the U.S Open. This 36-hole course calls all golf aficionados to sink a couple of hole-in-one’s while overlooking the crashing waves of the Pacific Ocean. The lush green expanse is perfect for a Sunday afternoon game, or a private lesson for the kids with one of Torrey Pines’ several veteran golf professionals. 
 
The University of California, San Diego is not only a world-renowned grant research university, its eucalyptus groves, the La Jolla Playhouse, Birch Aquarium, and Conrad Prebys Music Center make it a cultural wonder in the community. Residents can take a stroll through the 1,152-acre campus and find something to pass the time, whether they take in the fresh air through the groves, or catch a play at the Playhouse.
